Just received the cx1.00 in the mail (Canada)
So first off, as far as I can tell right now there is no way to detect which bud is left and which is right besides looking at the 'Y' splitter and having the shiny sennheiser logo sticking out, or that the rubber slider is on the right side. edit: nvm just found the faint embossed L w/ 3 dots and R on each IEM, that and the slider is on the left side.
The build itself feels pretty cheap but no real complaints. I hope they're durable enough because they actually fit me quite well out of the box
(after about 30minutes of listening to various songs) Onto sound: the lows extend well into the mids and I'd say that these definitely have a 'v' shaped sound signature. The bass is boomy but not quick and punchy Mids sound a bit recessed but vocals still sound good, just not front stage grabbing your attention Highs aren't piercing but aren't terribly clear which feels like it's due to that 'Sennheiser veil' or whatever you'd like to call it.
All in all, they'll be my daily drivers over the MEE M-Duo's but honestly I miss the TTPOD T1-E's sound signature. It's a shame they fried.
I'll probably edit this some time later when I have listened to them more thoroughly and have researched audiophile buzzwords :P
Disclaimer: I'm no audiophile, I just like headphones and music
Edit: After listening through my Fulla Schiit, they're much better controlled on the low end as opposed to listening through my Nexus 6P
