As I believed, since I didn't get it Saturday as originally stated, I would get it today... And I did. The black Delica that I ordered plus the little travel case. Would have loved the sharpener or a second knife or even an upgrade, but I got what I ordered and a little bonus. This will be my first Spyderco knife (my 5th knife overall). I'm going to have to get used to the lightness of the FRN, the back-lock, and the Spyderco thumb hole. Very sharp out of the box.
I wouldn't call it whining. I'd call it disappointment from people. I think they were hoping for an upgrade or one of the unlocked extras. I was only disappointed that I was told one date for delivery and then they removed that date and left nothing to replace it. DHL and their delivery date accuracy. What are you going to do? At least we get our orders and they're not lost in the mail somewhere (that would stink).
