For this drop, we’ve partnered with Spyderco to offer an exclusive selection of the company's best-selling Manix 2 models, as well as a few extras. By joining, you’ll at least receive a Manix 2 with a CTS BD1 blade and black or translucent blue FRN handle. But you’ll also have a chance to receive an upgraded version of the Manix 2 with premium handle materials and blade steels, plus additional prizes that will be unlocked as more members join the drop (see below). About the Manix 2
Hailed for its lightweight design and incredible utility, the Manix 2 has become a favorite among the EDC community. It features a 3.4-inch blade made from CTS BD1 steel, a high-carbon chromium steel with high hardness and excellent wear resistance. The choil at the base of blade makes it easy to choke up on for small tasks, but it’s plenty big enough for taxing work, too. The lockup is as tight as it gets thanks to the ball bearing lock, which also allows you to open and close the blade with just one hand. The handle is made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon for a secure grip that won’t weigh you down on the go. Slip it in a pocket on either side: It comes with an ambidextrous tip-up clip.
What Are the Odds of an Upgrade?
Fifty percent of those who join are guaranteed to receive a Spyderco Manix 2 with a CTS BD1 blade and an FRN handle in your choice of black or translucent blue, but the other half will be lucky winners of an upgrade. For the sake of surprise, and to protect our members' privacy, we do not announce the winners publicly. Upgrades will be assigned to orders by means of a random number generator in the following proportions:
