I was lucky and received the Thinksound ts02 Silver Cherry w/ Mic. Prior to receiving these, my go to IEM's were the IEB6's, which I love for build quality, super small size, and flat, clear audio. Compared to those, the ts02's are much warmer and deeper, and a little less tight in the bass. They are wonderful for listening to material such as Linda Ronstadt's album 'Round Midnight, or Dusty Springfield singing The Look of Love. I spent a few hours last night revisiting and thoroughly enjoying favorites from Dave Brubeck, Modern Jazz Quartet, Oregon, Winter Consort, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Supertramp, Gomez, Dave Rawlings, Gillian Welch and several others. Once I found the right eartip fit for me, the smallest, the phones were very comfortable. It's a lush sound, warmer than a studio monitor experience, and more liquid than the IEB6's, which I think are ultimately clearer than the ts02's. I'll continue to switch back and forth, using the First Harmonics for video, podcasts, percussive jazz and baroque, and the Thinksound ts02's for relaxing and drifting away with the music. Only caveat, very microphonic cord. I can hear it scrubbing against my beard stubble, amplified in my ears. These are for putting my head back and relaxing.
