Ts 1 and 2 no mic. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but sounds like a lot of ts 01s went out.
On first examination the TS1 looks like a chinese knockoff of the TS2. The carrying pouch is slightly more shoddy, the clip rattles and even the carrying pouches have a noticeable difference in quality. The extra eartips are the same with each set, however the TS2 has a better fitting bag which kept them in a neat line, while the TS1 they were loose in a larger plastic baggie.
The headphones themselves have a similar difference in quality. The cords appear to be identical between sets. The TS1 comes bound with a black ZipTie and the TS2 comes bound with some nice hemp cord (Similar to the carrying pouch). The buds themselves are very similar, with the TS1 being slightly wider due to the 10mm drivers. The wood of the TS2 has a much more finished feel to it than the TS1 which feels like it was sanded then spray finished (Much more grainy to the touch ~ Blech) The logos printed on the back of each "can" are centered well, but are printed with much more clarity on the TS2. I find the fit of the TS2 slightly better with the stock tips due to the narrow size.
Overall I'd say the TS2 was well worth the price of this drop (Although I really wish it had a mic) the TS1 is pretty disappointing as I have a similar pair of Rosewill Wooden IEMS that I paid less than 5$ for with similar fit and finish. There will need to be some pretty magnificent sound coming from them to even have them compete with the most basic IEMS.
Without listening to the sound of each set, when compared to the MEE bluebox from a few weeks ago, I'd say this one feels like a slightly worse deal. Maybe I'm just a little bitter about getting the TS1 when compared to the TS2 or other higher offerings...
