esjroI got the same. First time with this brabd. Very disappointed. I think the hifiman re00 are so much better. At least out of the box I did not find them pleasing

RyanMcmicanI use the ts01s and Joyroom 107s (which I highly recommend if you are looking for a cheap set of IEMs!) as sleepers, because they are small enough to not be uncomfortable with my head on a pillow. Initially I wasn't thrilled with the ts01s either...... the narrow bore makes for a small soundstage and the bass is a bit lacking for my tastes. I replaced the stock tips with Comply foams and now always run them through an amp (Chord Mojo or LH Labs Geekout V2 Infinity) which has opened up the sound and brought out the details. The ts01s are very detailed, but very neutral.......... not the most "fun" sound.
I haven't tried the ts02s yet as they just came yesterday and it was comedy night at the firehouse. (Yes, we live in a small town, LOL!) Am curious to see if results will be similar.

esjroCool. I don't really believe in burn in on iems. But I'll try it. A/b ing it against the re-00 makes it look like a joke
