Updated 11/8 Hi Everyone, I have a quick update on the Massdrop Blue Titanium AAA Flashlights. The flashlights are currently on their way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Once they arrive they will go through quality control checks, and will be prepared for shipment shortly after. We are on track to meet our estimated ship date of November 20. We're looking forward to everyone receiving the blue titanium flashlight!

Updated 10/25 Hi Everyone, We’re excited to announce the Massdrop Blue Titanium AAA Flashlight is entering the final stages of production! The flashlight has gone through some pretty extensive testing, including sitting in a pot of boiling water (while still shining!).

Just received mine. It's TINY! Out of curiosity though, wasn't it supposed to come with a keychain?... Wait, I think I found the little loop!
Now I am going to have to fight off my family members to keep them from taking this flashlight.

My blue titanium flashlight came with a plastic cutout that suggests a chain should have been included, and a chain was included when I ordered this model in the original color from Lumintop. However, the specs on the product page say nothing about a chain, so I doubt that any was intended to be included with this drop.
If you're like me and are allergic to metal alloys that contain nickel, then you'll probably want to buy your own chain anyway.

Varholiaglimp" Out of curiosity though, wasn't it supposed to come with a keychain?... Wait, I think I found the little loop!" The minuscule keyring that came with it is what I was talking about. It's been a moot point (post was 2 weeks old) since I found the little keyring inside (almost immediately after opening). It is strange that the keychain came with the brass version, but not with the titanium which is more expensive. No big deal as it is now permanently affixed to my keysmart.
Perhaps there was something unclear about my post?

Your use of "little loop" and "keychain" as synonyms is the source of the ambiguity. I read each term as referring to a different object -- esp. since I've found no keychain with any of the Massdrop lights. All I've found are replacement O rings, and pen clips that fit into each light's circular indentation.
I'm talking about an actual keychain. The word keychain means a chain consisting of several metal links, sometimes including a locking metal clasp, that attaches to a keyring. That and a keyring came with the Lumintop Ti I didn't pick up from Massdrop.
For future reference, here's an image of a keychain and keyring (but not of the ones I received from Lumintop, since they're at home with the light itself):

As you probably know, Lumintop is the same company that manufactures the Massdrop brass and blue ti versions of the light. As I mentioned, the light that included a keychain and keyring was never purchased from Massdrop.
Massdrop lists no keyring or keychain whatsoever as being included with the brass or ti light. They do mention O-rings, though.
And by the way:
This discussion is not "moot" for anyone who is thinking of purchasing one of Massdrop's exclusive lights. We're discussing what's included with a product that others are still buying.

TestbrahPeople didn't reply because they honestly don't know the answer. Only Massdrop reps would know. And customers' not knowing can be part of their incentive to buy. I expect that's by design.
Because this is a collaborative Massdrop product and Lumintop drops are common, I'd expect to see this flashlight again sooner than later. I can't tell you when the drop will return down to the month, though!

AveryCThat seems incredibly dangerous to heat a battery over 100ºC in a sealed casing. There is a lot of data on the Energizer and Duracell websites regarding heat+batteries=bad.
Just my $0.02 on the issue... but please be careful.

AveryC I've had this thing for a few months now, and most of the anodization has worn off on the parts that come in contact with anything.. and today it won't turn on. I've tried 2 different AAA's. All it does is make a very quick burst of light when you hit the button, it maybe lasts .25 seconds. I've left the batteries in for more than an hour a piece... not sure if it's a goner or not. Anyone got any ideas for me?

MGDNSame here, It just flashes on the instant the button is pushed. Shame considering I got this as a backup, it lived in my motorcycle jacket and saw minimal use (only used/worked twice) R.I.P. bluey

Rockman-20XXWith mine, if you rapidly click it over and over sometimes on like the 20th or 30th click it’ll turn on. This was my primary edc light, and I used it a bunch. My Olight I bought as a replacement has been working great. Plus it’s brighter and half the price. It is not blue however.
Additionally, ive gotten 0 response from mass drop or anyone about this problem.

Rockman-20XXMy MD ti flashlight died after minimal use as well; I'd only taken it out of the package a few times. It seems to me that MD should show us good faith given the number of failed lights reported for this product. They should initiate an open return policy for this product, since that's what a normal company would do in response to a class action suit.

VarholiaglimpSince I mentioned 21 weeks ago that I'd gotten no response from MD, I am truly not surprised to tell you that has not changed. Though the light is still working after taking it apart and doing absolutely nothing other than putting it back together.

MGDNI have one of the original lumintop time lights, and I had a similar issue, it appears that some oxidation on the contact surfaces can occur. I'm not sure how that happens seeing as mine is not anodized, and the threads are all raw, but cleaning the contact surfaces in the switch and on the light body, and applying a light bit of silicone grease has lept my light working for close to two years now. Don't forget there are threads at the head that should be cleaned and lubed too.
