WooHoo! Mine arrived today. The Copper is beautiful. And it’s smaller than I expected.
In another thread here someone asks what the black paper is for? It’s 3M Tarni-Shield. They’re special absorbent paper that protects metal jewelry and other items from discoloration and tarnish, especially during shipping and storage. They protect silver, nickel, copper, bronze, brass, tin and gold.
The instructions say, “Remove the 3M Tarni-Shield from bag and place it near polished metal in an enclosed area. Use strips in jewelry cases, storage bags or boxes, china cabinets, silverware chests, musical instrument cases or trophy cases. These strips offer protection from tarnish and discoloration for up to 6 months. In a sealed bag these will last up to 24 months. One strip protects about 30 cubic inches of air space. Store unused strips in a sealed, airtight bag.”
