As to the "one piece of leather" comment, I think people are referencing this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a11wlngpuSY
In it, Dave from Saddleback Leather talks about how much stronger a bag is if you make the majority out of one piece, instead of a bunch of pieces spliced together and stitched up with thread, which is always going to be weaker than the leather itself.

Will there be other colors? At this point we have no plans to release the Cruz in more colors.
How big are the shoe compartments? We've tested them with size 12 Allen Edmonds Park Avenue and those fit comfortably. I'll post a measurement when I'm in the office tomorrow.
