I just got my CTH this morning (thanks for being so horrible with your shipping to Australia, DHL) AND I've been giving it a listen with my Sennheiser HD6xx's with a custom Balanced XLR cable. So far I am very happy with it. Sound is great as of around 10 O'clock, so still plenty of power. Will see how I like it after a significant break in, though at this stage very pleased.
One thing I have noticed, however, is either the included instructions are wrong, poorly written, or my unit is a bit odd. Under 'SETUP INSTRUCTIONS' it says: "When the input button is extended, the amp is connected to the internal SDAC"
This is not what happens with my Unit. On mine the button needs to be pushed in to use the internal SDAC. When I was first setting it up I had the button extended and I was wondering why I was getting nothing out of it. Once I pushed the button in my music started coming through. Not a huge deal, but thought I would seek some clarification in case someone else experiences the same thing.

msolokJust an FYI, you realise that the amp isn't balanced, right? (You mention the balanced cable).
Button works same was as on mine, I didn't bother reading the instructions though.

msolokThis is exactly what happened to mine. Can anyone else confirm that is normal and that my unit isn't defective?

j_scottThis unit can function as a stand alone DAC, so when the switch is not press, i suppose the DAC is power and you need to hook up an external power amp. When the switch is press, both the DAC and amp kick in.

msolokhi, just wondering if the power supply included has an input voltage of 110-240V and if it doesn't which power supply you're using it to power it.

BadmuthaYes it does. You just need to find a $2 international socket adaptor for it.
