Can we please have a picture of the board with the switch removed.
That said, is it compatible with all brands? Will my gaterons work in there, or anything else I choose? There is a big difference between a quality hot swappable board and the inferior ones.

SYSTEM-GLITCHAppears to be the same as the K-type, using Kaihua hot swap sockets. All MX compatible boards of any variety are going to be compatible with any MX type switches of any brand.

CyphreWow. Yeah, that is the best there is.
I'd still like to see a picture to confirm this with my eyes. I have trust issues.

SYSTEM-GLITCH@Cyphre But looks like Zealios (https://zealpc.net/products/zealio) will not fit, due to the two side knobs? (Without filing them off, anyway)
Also hoping for an image of the mounting. @YanboWu Can you share some details?

mio.bambinoThere are two types of MX housing: Plate Mount and PCB Mount. Both of which can fit into any board with a plate, as all you need to do is clip off the two extra stems present on PCB Mount switches. Most Zealios are PCB Mount because there is no harm in having them, especially when a lot of aftermarket boards still include PCB mount holes anyway.
For any board lacking the additional holes, there is no harm in clipping off the stems from PCB mount housings. Flush cutters are pretty handy for this.

CyphreThanks, I was not aware of this. So, flush cutters are going to make it easy, because I probably wouldn't want to file about 100 keys down.

mio.bambinoFiling would definitely take considerably longer, although you may want to finish off the surface with a file if you clip them.
