Is this black or dark grey? I am wondering it this will actually look good with black keycaps or as out of place as the original silver k-type looks

Dark grey but it should look good with black keycaps. I've used the black Ducky PBT shinethrough keycaps and am currently using GMK Miami Nights on my K-Type and they both look great with silver. However, I am really looking forward to the CTRL as Miami Nights will look better on that board!
