Is there a legitimate reason to buy this one over the Hammock gear Econ Line of TopQuilts?

MinosCompare with the HG Burrow series. They are more similar as they are goose down (same as this one on mass drop). So, this one is less expensive.

MinosThe Burrow Econ quilts are meaningfully heavier. Our regular quilt has the same width as their "wide". Our fabric is lighter and has a nice feel to it. I've read numerous reports that it's hard to get a good seal on the foot cinch. They don't include straps for attaching the quilt to your pad and eliminating drafts - and we have two removable straps.
Finally, the biggest difference is that the Burrow quilts use horizontal baffles, which means the down can shift. I can't think of reason you'd want down to shift on a quilt. You can affect temperature through the variable girth of the quilt and easy venting. There used to be the idea that this was good for sleeping bags, but I don't think that is supported so much anymore, and it definitely doesn't make sense with a quilt. This applies to all Burrow quilts - econ and regular.
