Still seems it should be cheaper, for being the left overs of a run. Then again 400 lbs capacity might be the reason. I don't think you find many again office depot with that cap aND price. I think I would have impulsively bought at 150 though, now I'm gonna research.

BlueCrownedThe factory that actually makes these, or any other factory that makes anything, they supply the chair. Company A puts in an order for 1000 chairs, well the factory doesn't make 1000 chairs, they make a bit more, in case of flaws and what not. Well after filling Company A's order, they now have 250 perfectly good chairs left over. They aint holding them for Company A's next order, they call up Company B to tell them they have 250 chairs for sale, and sell it to them. Company B takes them and sells them for much cheaper than Company A price. Because Company B wants to move product.

Prumy 🤔 the est. ship date (implying this is being made to order), the fact that quantities don't appear to be limited and the fact that this is a massdrop exclusive leads me to believe your statements are false.
PrumyAs BlueCrowned suggested, this is not overflow from a previous run, the Flex is built to a specification provided by Massdrop. The weight capacity difference comes from two things, different mesh fabric, and different standards for specification. Know how some laptop companies advertise 12 hour battery life, but fail to specify this is with the screen, wifi, bluetooth, and HD turned off? We prefer to specify 400lb when it can support 500lb or probably 600lb without issue, but we choose to specify 400lb so nobody is on the borderline.
