Just got mine today and wow, holy hell are these hard to drive, even with my xDuoo XD-05 Amp on mid Gain at max volume (Can't go to high Gain since the Burson V5i opamp Mod doesn't allow me to go there). Definitely needs more power compared to my TH-X00 headphones which sound terrific and more vibrant than the T-X0. Will have to see if I'll like these, since they're hard to drive.
On my LG V20 smartphone, the high impedance kicked in on its Quad DAC, but even at max volume, it's just not a lot of volume or power. I'm really hoping that this will loosen up because I'd like to have this as my travel headphones.

JoeyG13These are not recommended for travel with as much power they'll need to be driven properly.
Portable Amps are such a silly burden.

YakovYeah, but I still can barely run them with the Quad Dac of my LG V20 and not even with my xDuooo XD-05 that I use as my desktop amp =(
