Got mine this afternoon, have about 3 hours of listening and still listening to it while typing this message. I wish the TX-0 came out 10 years ago so I didn't have to spend so much money on other cans. The separation, details and texture of the TX-0 are so licking good (even with the stock cable). I would say it is way surpass of my ATH AD-1000 and many other full size phones where those are at least 3 - 4X the price. Personally I don't think the soundstage is being congested, although it did sound kind of crap when it was freshly out of the box. Simply 30 minutes of playing have already opened it up a lot in every aspect. Other than my Aune T1 (set at highest gain), I also tried pairing the TX-0 with just my cellphones as well as Zuper DAC from Zorloo to see how inefficient it can be. No doubt, desk top setup is highly recommended if you want to drive it properly. However, the Zorloo is still capable to drive the TX-0 to a decent/acceptable level in terms of loudness and dynamics, at about 70% output of the Zorloo. In contrast, I normally use 30 - 40% output for my Aurisonics ASG 2.5 & AKG K267. If anyone is planning to pair it with cellphone only, my honest opinion is please forget about that idea. All in all, the TX-0 is a must have (for both historical reason and performance, not to mention the price tag) and I am super happy that I joined the drop, thank you MD.
