In the future, it would be great to see this drop being made available without any desk top. For many of us, fiberboard is not usuable, as monitor stands tend to require clamping forces that damages MDF. Instead, I would prefer to source my own (hardwood) desk top locally, and DIY it onto the motorised frame.

Proxxiify100% what I was thinking here. I want to use my own desktop materials. Bonus is you can also determine your own dimensions for narrower or longer desks. Next time hopefully...
