YuroI have a Jotunheim, but I've never heard the Liquid Carbon before, so I can't make a direct comparison. If I was you I would look up some LC reviews to see if the sound signature sounds like what you want.

YuroWith dac module the jotunheim is $500. They're both super powerful, i think the main thing the jotunheim has over this is that the jotunheim's dac section is fully balanced and im not sure the LCX is.. LCX does use a newer dac chip tho.
LCX imo also looks a lot better. And has a power switch ON THE FRONT. Now if that's not high-end idk what is.

YuroForget the jotunheim with the standard balanced dac.
Get the new jotunheim that came out a few weeks ago, has a new option to have a Multibit module to be installed in it, $599 for it is a good deal for it.

FrostyPHave you bothered to actually try it?
It works really well with the jotunheim specifically, which ive tried with both an exterior Multibit and the standard dac. Takes off some of the high glare, just sounds better in my opinion.
Regarding Multibit application on other amps I haven’t tried, so I can’t really advocate for any of those. But I sure can advocate for the Jotunheim + Multibit.
