Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these to ship out. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/26 or sooner if something comes up.

Aww--sad I missed this one. I was heading over today to sign up for it :(
Hopefully it comes back (though with only 14/200 votes so far, seems unlikely haha)

I have two of the three of these games (King of Tokyo and Tsuro and am a big fan of both. I've played both with kids ranging in age from 12 to 18 and everyone had a great time. Haven't played Splendor but it sounds like that one should be on my list of games to buy. If I didn't own the other two already, this drop would be a no brainer!

davidhornikUgh i was a damn fool and didn't pick up Splendor when Amazon had it for 50% off. It's one of my favorite games.

these games are supposed to be simple & quick. That leads me to wonder if they'd be good games to introduce 6 year olds to adult board games? Thoughts?

bryanlarsenHey, I've played all 3 games, but I can't speak for whether or not they would be good for a six year old. Here's an article on r/boardgames that has Tsuro and King of Tokyo in the age group of 7-8. People in the comments also say they play Splendor with their 6 year old. https://www.reddit.com/r/boardgames/comments/2j8hvu/my_guide_to_gaming_with_kids_what_to_play_and_when/
In my opinion, Splendor can be played at any age provided the child can read numbers and match symbols. There is no reading involved in the game, but the strategies entailed will be a bit complex for a child. King of Tokyo is purely a dice-rolling game with little strategy, so a child should be able to pick it up quite easily. You may have to explain what some of the cards do though. Tsuro would seem appropriate for a child. The most they have to do is place a tile and move his piece along the path he created. Overall, I think these games would be totally fine for a 6-year old. Hope I helped.

bryanlarsenHonestly, my first play of King of Tokyo, a 6-7 year old won the game. It's VERY approachable (and he seemed to love the theme). His only problem was holding all the dice to roll, as they're a bit big.
Tsuro, the rules and mechanics are very straight forward, so should be easy enough to teach.

Like others, I'd also be interested if this were offered internationally.
