This is the first Massdrop item I've ever tried to return, but here is my instant failure comparison. Same mic port, exact same amount of digital gain applied, here is the Sennheiser PC350 mic vs the Massdrop Minimic:

Also the velco dot and cable are quite bad.

Teque5I have the same issue, it is because of the electronics. I will have to return it too.

mine doesn't have noise reduction and echo cancellation option..
