This product is absolute trash. The main draw of a modular-type microphone is the ability to attach a high quality boom mic to your crisp, high quality headphones and have your attractive voice be unmarred by a low quality mic. The Minimic fails at the ability to ATTACH. I'd be better off smearing some honey on the back of my cans for a stick. It is evident that mASS drop haven't put these imitation velcro pads through any sort of quality test, cause they treat my 598 closed backs like they were slicked with oil. A complete slip n slide. Some suggest cutting out a replacement from tape...tying and sticking magnets, or some combination of the two ..effectively telling me to mod my minimic...which, frankly, is pathetic. over 2 weeks of waiting for Fedex to jog 'cross country...and I can't even attach my microphone out of the box. I repeat myself...TRASH.
