Is this normal ?
I just received my massdrop minimic and the part where the plastic velcro is attached (the one which is supposed to be taped to the headphones) is, I think, misplaced.
As you can see in the picture it is placed around the middle while it is supposed to be at the beginning of the jack connecting the mic.

I don't know if this can be moved, I gently tried and it didn't work. I don't want to break anything so I rather ask here before anything : is this normal and I can move it or was it misplaced during production? Thanks

WalterBlackYou can move it. Just pinch neck and the plastic part and pull it gently to the desired position.

phntm_AIIt doesn't seem like it is supposed to be moved.
Are you sure about that?

phntm_AIYeah my bad it was just a bit hard at first and I didn't want to break it since it is apparently quite fragile.
Now my main problem is finding a way to stick it to the headphones because the original one doesn't maintain anything in place.
Thanks for your help anyway !

WalterBlackYeah. No problem! Glad I could help. Yeah I know the fasteners are a problem for a lot of people. Mine haven’t yet, but if they do, I have the Modmic accessories combo saved for later as well as half inch diameter magnets on Amazon. The Modmic accessories combo is overpriced imo.... but could be worth it for some, while the magnets are a good alternative that leaves you with a lot of spare magnets.
