hello, some quick questions before i order this. There seems to be 2 differetn type of pictures one with and imput and one with out. Which one is being sold? what does " Note: At checkout, choose the 110V or 220V adapter, as well as standard gain (2.5x low, 6.5x high) or medium gain (1.0x low, 3.3x" mean? i live in california if that means anything. Idk what teh standard or medium gain is either. I plan to use it for my comp since i feel the sound that comes out of it isnt the best. I have sennheisers 558hd and a mod mic. Will i be able to conenct both to it?

GanzoOnly your HD558 will be able to connect to it. Get the medium gain option if you go for it, that Sennheiser headphone doesn't need that much gain boost. The gain boosts the volume a bit for less sensitive headphones or sources with lower volume (like if you were to use the Objective2 with an MP3 player for some reason), but most headphones don't need much gain boost to begin with.
It seems that there is no option to get the Objective2 with RCA stereo input on the back this time, but they left the related photo in the description. So if you buy it this time, the input will be a 3.5mm socket on the front, right side. Your headphones would go into the front as well, left side.
If you want better sound and microphone input, consider something like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo, M-Audio M-Track 2x2, or Tascam US 1x2CU.

Valensilius_Zephyrusoh nice, of those which would you recommend? yeah i just want a nicer sound here on my comp. which is easier to set up while still giving out good sound and taking in good input? Thank you for your response btw and thank you for the information and recommendations.

GanzoI use my Sennheiser HD800S on it, and I chose the medium gain.

GanzoThey're all good units from reputable companies, but only by testing them with your computer will you be able to find out which suits you better. Or perhaps any one of them would. You won't know if one of them happens to end up with hiccups with your computer until you try it, even though they're all supposed to be made for current operating systems like Windows 10 and whatever latest Mac OS X. Another good one I see getting good feedback is the Mackie Onyx Artist 2x2.
Also, if you get the Focusrite unit, make sure it is 2nd gen, otherwise these are all some of the latest in decent, budget recording interfaces.
I myself use an older version of the M-Track with an AKG microphone and my saxophone.
