Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

Thanks.
I don't need to use a DAC because I will be using the FiiO X3 as my input for music. (There was a big discussion earlier about that). And I have seen the original non-Massdrop produced O2 - it *does* have a single digital input from what I can see/remember. That's why I bought the O2 from Massdrop. Does that make sense?
Some of the O2 amps use a 3.5mm input instead of RCA's, perhaps that's what you're thinking of? This was the original design, before the

So, additional questions then :) These are my 2 MAIN usage scenarios: 1) HiRez audio (for now FiiO X3 is what I am going to keep using) 2) Listening to TV through headphones when the house needs to be quiet :) Receiver: Denon AVR-4310CI
For scenario 1 (hi-res music), I currently use FiiO E6 with FiiO X3 - along with the Sennheiser HD 6xx. This is what I am trying to improve, if possible - within reason :)
I tend to use my Shure SRH940s for the 2nd scenario usually (TV listening). I do use the Shure for music also :)
(I also do own an Audio Technica ATH M50x - just FYI).
Thanks so much, again!
The X3 has a line level output capability, which is what you need to use with this...from what I've read it's a higher than average line level so expect to keep the volume setting low.
Your Denon has multiple audio outputs, you'll have to check if the VCR, or DVR outputs are line level....they should be.
LOL, yes, the question seemed to have gotten lost in there somewhere.
So... I do use X3's line level output (and use the FiiO E06's line level input) with the Senn HD6xx - using E06's headphone output. And it sounds good. I was just hoping to make that sound better, if possible - within a reasonable cost. That was the main question! :)
That's why I thought that the JDS Labs' singular input might be useful for me. Well, as it turns out, it was/is analog. But, it still isn't present on Massdrop O2 (the single input). Of course, that could be fixed easily by buying a 'stereo breakout cable'. But then I will have to use X3's headphone out and not the line-level output, right?
In addition, I wanted to see if I could use the HD6xx with my receiver and what I needed for that. I will take a look at the line level outputs for receiver. I guess until now I was using the 'headphone out' on the front panel - not the smartest move on my part :(
Thanks, Keth!
All you need is a 3.5mm male to RCA male adapter. The hardest part will be find a short quality male to male adapter that isn't ridiculously priced. Super easy to find 6 inch male to female cables, but not male to male for some reason.
