Just on the subject of an early poster explaining how the O2 wasn't all that - he's full of it. For starters, he rambles on about power supply switching noise...the O2 doesn't even use a switch-mode power supply. As it happens, the O2 is extraordinarily insensitive to power supply variation thanks to the excellent PSRR of the opamps. In fact, with batteries installed, you can switch between mains and battery operation whilst the amp is on - dropping the power supply rails by ~25% as you do so - and you probably won't even hear a noise in your headphones.
This is a transparent amp at an excellent price, and the only reason I'm not biting is because I already built mine!

Wigdog_JonesI suppose it is too bad "that early poster" never said the O2 used an AC-DC wall wart nor that the O2 "wasn't all that". Might look a bit better if you made sure you read things correctly before you run around bashing people.
