HngrgmsYou can plug your speakers and headphones into the 3.5mm jack in the Objective O2. Note that this is only the AMP version of the O2, if you need the DAC part too it's best not to buy it. I regret not buying the AMP+DAC combo as it would take up less space. I ended up with the O2 AMP and a Modi 2 Uber. I was thinking of getting my Schiit stack and get rid of my O2. If you buy the AMP only version you will have to buy the O2 DAC separately from somewhere like JDS Labs.
If you can't wait for the O2 AMP+DAC to come back you will have to shell out more money and buy directly from JDS Labs. It's been a while since the O2 AMP+DAC combo was available.

6EQUJ5thanks for your reply i will definietly consider the amp dac combo but i havent seen any amp this small being able to drive speakers(250w). Are you positive that it can drive them at full sound

HngrgmsI do not believe the O2 can power high wattage speakers.

HngrgmsI guess it really depends on your setup. The O2 was not designed to push unpowered bookshelf speakers if that's what you intended to do. Without knowing more about your setup no one can really tell you the right answer. And when they rate speaker pairs or sets it's usually the total combined output power, 250W is probably the total. My original satellites are 35W each but I swapped them out for Tang Bands which are 30W each, so my setup is 60W total for the satellites and the subwoofer is 130W. So I lost about 10W switching to Tang Bands but it is worth the upgrade to hear the clarity and crispness. The original setup is rated at 200W but now my system is 190W. If your 250W pair of speakers (not including subwoofer) are powered then chances are you can play music through them like the Mackie CR3/CR4 that come with no subwoofers but they are powered.
Most PC 2.1 setups should already have an AMP built into the satellites or the subwoofer. Otherwise, if you have a receiver/amplifier you already know how to setup home theater systems.
My setup is for PC:
PC --> OPA627AP --> TOSLINK --> Schiit Modi 2 Uber ---> Objective O2 ---> Klipsch Promedia 2.1

6EQUJ5thank you very much for your comment to explain my setup: pc->asus u7 sound card(i know its shit maybe i will change it for a modi but it still eliminates the electrical interference)->speaker amp(im using a no name brand 150w speakers+subwoofer(microlab) they are powered from the big amp and sound pretty decent actually good enough to compote with bose acoustimass 5s i have installed in my living room at least in clarity.)->when i play games i plug my k7xx to the big amp that powers the speakers it has a 3.5 mm jack but it clearly wasnt designed for a high powered headphone like the k7xx.It still does an ok job but im looking for a solution that would function the same way with less cable clutter more power to the k7xx and same sound levels on the speakers
Thank you very much for spending time to answer

HngrgmsUnfortunately there is nothing that can power speakers and headphones efficiently at the same. Your best option is to plug the O2 into your amp's 3.5mm jack and power them from there hoping your source stays clean on the way. Then unplug the amp as needed
