AudioeyesIt takes two 9V rechargable batteries - I'm not at home now, but I <think> that you remove two screws on the back, and the whole chassis slides out.
BTW - with the batteries installed, my O2 desktop has significantly more bass impact, depth, and clarity driving HiFiman HE-350's, Fostex T50RP, or original Fostex T20's than a Schitt Magni, or Firestone Fubar III.
OTOH all three amps sound pretty similar driving Senn 580's or Beyer DT-580's - which I think may be the batteries contributing more current than the wall warts can deliver into 30 ohm loads.

AudioeyesI just looked & it's 4 small phillips head screws on the back to remove ...
Anyway - one MUST love a headphone amp that allows the Spurs to beat Chelsea in full fidelity.
Cheers & Beers
