I'm new to audiophile. Can this SDAC which support up to 24bit/96kHz play 24bit/192kHz files? I have some favorite track which are in 192kHz format, and I play them with this SDAC? I don't mind down sampling, I just want to play it.

lucdinhkhanh " It’s equipped with the new AKM AK4452 digital-to-analog conversion chip and can process the most common file types up to 24 bit/96 kHz with no harshness or edge and the kind of resolution and detail that’ll make you want to listen on and on. " Sounds to me like 96 kHz is the max.

E111The AK4452 chip has capabilities that extend 24bit/96khz, but that have been limited for use with usb input. Therefore I don’t see why it cannot downsample from 192 to 96. The following is taken from AKM’s prduct description on their website: ”The AK4452VN/54VN/56VN/58VN are new generation 32-bit multi-channel Premium DAC series. Digital input supports PCM inputs up to 768kHz and DSD input of 2.8MHz/5.6MHz / maximum 11.2MHz the industry's highest level. Internal circuit employs a newly developed 32bit Digital Filter considering sound quality. It is ideal for the system such as Network Audio Player focusing sound quality, SACD player, high-end audio system supporting high resolution sound source. - Maximum Sampling Frequency, Bit rate: PCM768kHz/32-bit, DSD256(11.2MHz) - SNR: 115dB - THD+N: -107dB - Sound Color Digital Filter: 5 types”.
By the way, AK4452 is the 2 channel (stereo model) model... and AK4458 is the 8 channel model (for multi channel usage such as Audio/Video Receivers, Blu Ray players...)
