I've gotten to spend a little time with this blanket, and must say that I was sold pretty quickly on it. The quality is fantastic. The detail is nice, especially how the snaps are nice and hidden. It is SO light, and really gets quite compact as well.
My favorite part about the blanket though was how versatile it was. As a camping blanket alone, it was great. I actually took it out in the canyon for a nice weekend hike, and really enjoyed having it around. Generally I set up camp, put my sleeping bag in place, and don't actually get in my tent until I want to pass out. With the blanket, I was able to bring a lighter sleeping bag, but also kept the blanket out for lounging around. Morning coffee wrapped in a warm blanket in the wilderness, is <3.

Now, what truly makes it versatile in my book is now all the applications for the blanket while out on the trail, but the fact that the blanket looks and feels so good it can be used around home as well. I've had more than a few sleeping bags and blankets, but none that I really thought looked good enough to keep around the house to use daily.

The fact that the blanket gets so compact is also really nice, just because it makes for easy storage. I recently moved across the country and had to get rid of so many huge blankets just because we don't have room for them. This little blanket can easily be packed up and tossed under the sofa or put in a closet. I definitely plan on getting two! I'm still unsure if I want to sew them together or not, because having a blanket large enough to fit my bed would be pretty stellar.
