$299.99 for a no name brand, im not sure about the "guarantees the low price point " part is ture or not.
and btw i never c any " group buys" needed 4 months to complete.
These things probably will be made to order after this buy ends, the wait times on such drops is always that long.
This simply is a Massdrop product, this time without a big company name behind it, before we had headphones where MD colaborated with Sennheiser, AKG, Fostex and even Nobel Audio, if you're not sure on these wait till the first drop ends and till some more reviews of these come out. If you like what the reviewers have to say you can always hope for another drop, or till these will be constantly available, just like the other Massdrop colabs are now. Or you just buy them off of someone on ebay or something like that. I think massdrop established itself as good marketing/groupbuying company and now they're trying their shot at making their own product from ground up.
Wasn't that the Custom Flagshit drop where a new flagship modle got released one week after the drop ended?
if so, was there any marketing done for the new flagship release or was there any release date out to the public? If that was the case it's your own fault for not doing any research what so ever..
if it was a "surprise-release", what if said company, in this case UE/Logitech ( I think), used massdrop to get rid off as much old stock as possible with as much profit as possible? Of course, it's the easiest and most simple thing to just put all the blame on massdrop, and even if there are many drops with hardly any, or no "savings" at all if you compare it to actual retailers, Massdrop is a nice community and i bought a lot of stuff here and always had a pleasent purchasing experience.
However, I wish massdrop would be much more transparent about the talk and negotiations they do for a drop. But I guess that won't happen..
Everytime massdrop sent one of their "exclusives" to a youtuber to talk about it, or everytime a youtuber/tech-webside put anything about massdrop into their content massdrop did marketing.
The best marketing is precieved as entertainment.
I forgot to ask in my first repsonse,
What does that drop even have to do with this one?
You can't blame the lack of publicity about the UE 18 plus on massdrop because you simply do not know how much Massdrop acutally talked with UE before the drop happened, that's the reason to me wanting some transperancy about their negotiation. And as i said earlier, what if UE used massdrop's rather good reputation to just get rid of old stock?
In Germany and Austria the biggest tech retailer did a buy one get a second free for the standard PS4 before the ps4 pro came out, such sales show how much margain actually is on products OR how desperate retailers/manufacturers are to get rid of old and soon to be outdated stock
I said I was salty over it...
your point for writing a whole essay is just conflation
whatever
If you read carefully I never mentioned this product.
said I’d never consider this because ue 18

How did you manage to overlook the Sennheiser HD6xx buy that's been plastered all over Massdrop for months? Started in July, delivery estimated for December.
thats what im saying here ! the sennheiser HD6xx is not a "Group buy", in fact none of the drops in MD ar group buy, coz there is no minimum number of purchase setted, and they took months to ship.
