Hi Everyone! Good news. The Massdrop Plus Universal IEMs have arrived at the warehouse, and we’re planning on sending them out a bit early. They are currently undergoing quality control checks, and we expect them to ship by the end of next week (February 2).
If you need to change your delivery address please contact community support through your transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions) by this Saturday, January 27 at 5pm PT.

AveryCAny chance they'll be dropping again before mid year? I was totally out of the loop when these first came out..
(and I do mean OUT, thanks to hurricane Maria, didn't read anything online for a month or two that wasn't local news, conserving battery life, etc.; power came back here Dec 24th!)
Been looking at the ER4XR for a while but these look equally tempting after a little reading, if not a little more so... Their multi BA nature worries me a little but I can work around that.
My Ety hf5 conked out and I spent much of my downtime after Maria with my beater Piston 3's instead, blah. OK, pity party over!

jefe32I've been lucky in that it's only gone out for me once since the 24th (when they had that big fire like a week or two ago)... It's kinda bizarre cause I've heard from local businesses around me the they keep having intermittent issues and outages.
Crazy constant rains all thru the end of last year and start of this one aren't helping... Oh well, glad this dropped again so soon, I'm so in!

zhouharveyI don't think it looks that bad.
I seriously doubt they're doing a revision, especially for aesthetics of all things. Any significant changes would likely warrant just creating a whole new product. They're probably only made ~600 units (or however many they sold) and have to manufacture more.

AnaheimWhat information do you want? It's all in the main page if you are able to read. Since you are able to type here I bet you can read can't you? Simple answer is buy them but don't look at them, just wear them on and you get a good sounding IEM. If you happened to see them by the eye, just keep telling yourself that it was an illusion it was a nightmare and let the bad memories go away.

zhouharveyTo me, the side that goes in your ear looks like a custom IEM with the top replaced with a regular tip, and the outward facing side looks like some sort of hearing aid.
I don't think they're beautiful but I don't think they looks nearly as bad as you seem to think they are.

AnaheimI don't think they're going to tell us when it's dropping again. I wish they would be more clear rather than saying nothing and then suddenly announcing the drop right before it happens but they're probably afraid of people complaining "but you said!" if there's a change in plans.
