Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

At office: I have a few. Noise cancelling one(Audio Technica ANC7b) when I want to focus. no music played. But I also have some closed(Monoprice m1060c) or semi-closed(Fostex TH-X00 Ebony or Fostex T-X0) depending on the situation.
Commute: Shure SE846 or Westone UMPro 50 or Sennheiser IE80 or Sennheiser 598C.
At home: Sennheiser HD6xx. Sony bluetooth
Vacation: Cheap ones that I wouldnt mind too much if I lost them. KZ-ZS5 or ZS6 (with VE Monk cables) Audio Technica IM70 Xiaomi USB-C noise cancelling Monk plus
Then the rest are for curiosity which I rarely use.
My recommendation is that you try to gauge what would be the biggest budget you could save up and aim for TOTL iems (no custom in ears). They usually serve all purpose very well and you dont have to upgrade any time soon.
IEM can be used everywhere so that is pretty good unlike the headphones.
I went through lots of IEMs and still ended up buying shure se846. If I bought it from the beginning I might have saved all the money spent on other iems.
