I have been using 6xx for a while now, and the velvet earpads really bothers me because it became itchy and hot when use 20mins+. So can anyone here recommend a place to buy a replacement pad that is not velvet please. (I lives in US but doesn't mind international shipping if need be) Thanks a lot in advance

Elite21Search for replacement earpads for the HD 650. There should be plenty of options out there.

ukfan3108I already did some research and found out that the original velour pads cost 50$+. The cheap one out there doesn't have many good review, also I'm interested in leather pads

Elite21You're essentially walking into the world of headphone modding, which unless you are looking to DIY it's not going to be cheap. I wish I could point you in a better direction, but I haven't done anything with mine other than listen to them. A quick google search myself turned up no official Sennheiser pads, but some have been able to modify Senn's HE60 pads to fit. http://www.head-fi.org/t/683053/sennheiser-hd650-new-leather-pads-and-head-band-silk-screens
I wonder if you are allergic to the fabric used in the headphone's pads. From my experience the pleather pads (similar to the ones on the TH-X00's) after extended use cause me to get hot & sweaty. That's because the pleather isn't a breathable fabric. A quick 5 min break from them clears it right up. I'm not sure what would cause this issue with the 6xx pads, but maybe were all unique humans who react differently to things.
Best of luck

ukfan3108First of all, I must thank you for your time writing a wonderful advice for me. Maybe you're right, I've tried several velvet earpads and never like anyone of them. So maybe DIY might be a way to go then
Thanks again :)
