not really complaining but. 15 usd shipping to the same country as its produced in is a bit odd

That's because they all come to Massdrop's warehouse in the U.S. first. Then you are paying to ship them from the U.S. back to Europe.

That's how massdrop can sell them for less. The purchase stuff from manufacturers in mass so that there are less packaging and shipping costs for the manufacturer and then massdrop sends them out to people once they recieve them.

surely it would be more effective and cheaper to ship orders directly from country of production

More efficien, maybe, but it would definitely increase costs individually shipping everything. It does kind of suck but it makes it cheaper.
