I was more or less on the Way to buy my Second pair for "estimated ~450" Price cause i love my First HD650 more than 10 Years. ~Rewind~ It was 2004 and my Wife dont allowed me to do my Motorcycle Driving License (it was better that young time ;) ), so i went *annoyed* in an HifiShop to spend these planed Money FOR ME. The Seller told me overwhelming about the New 2003 HD650 Blablabla, - simple i was not in this Headphone Scene and he could tell me what he like, i had to believe him. He set on me the Sennheiser HD650 and i heard these Headphones absolutely the first Time - and it was like getting Plugged into HiFi-Matrix .. Minutes later i came totaly paralysed out of that Shop with my First pair of Sennheiser HD650 in Hands. A Good Friend of mine was with me and he ask if i been sane spend nearly 500$ for "a Pair of Headphones?" (I try it Hard but he dont have that Acoustic Horizon) Now over 10 Years later as my Headphones where working and charming as Dailys they are getting a little bit tired and old - long years and long time they become "better and better".. But now they "CLIP" very fast. They Sounds beautifully like on First Day. After over 10 Years i can Say : "I know that HD650 Headphone In&Out" and when i heard about these Request i was with it.. it is worth to wait. I cannot wait to Christmas :)

HotpackI had the same experience with another Sennheiser product. Almost not heard much about the company but one day I walked into one store and found PX100 originals. They were just hanging there so I just put them on to try. I just couldn't believe how good they sound. Was standing there totally shocked and it took me less than a second to decide I am going to get this no matter the cost. They were about 99 dollars then so just paid right there and went. Ever since, I am a fan of Sennheiser and this will be my first open back headphone. I can't wait either.

buchiyeI assure it you will be blown away. But you need to spend a few Days/Weeks patience to wake the Drivers alive. I had a Time where i was mostly using a Logitech BT Headset which i was thinking "Sounds Well". After a few Weeks i was taking back my HD650 and was a Second time totaly perplex how beautiful the Music is and how good everything Sounds. This was a renew of my Love to the HD650. I know the PX100 and the HD-424 as well. Stunning "warm" Sound for this truely Lightweight Headphones. The HD650/HD6xx is untouchable the best Value. The 700/800 Series is too Expensive - and i never will hopefuly listen to them - cause i knew me.. ( I believe this will be getting costly - or the chances are huge to become costly)
