Noob here, just got a Sony WH1000XM2 ($350.) sound is incredible . Will the Sennheiser HD650 be comparable? Are they even in the same league sound wise?

Wally999You're comparing closed, foldable, low impedance, noise cancelling wireless headphones (Sony) with open, wired, high impedance Sennheisers. The two products have completely different designs and objectives.
The Sennheisers are designed to sound good when used with the right equipment, and that's about all they are designed for. The Sony's are designed to be a whole bunch of other things (and decent sound is only one of those things). They are not comparable.
