mhvuNICE!!! I am one of the last 500 as well. I'm running a schiit 2 uber stack and an lg v20 for portability. I have isine 10 and VE monk plus for out on the road, and k7xx for at-home general purpose. The wait is killer, but it's even worse watching people get their pairs already and knowing that we'll be the last ones, isn't it? *sigh*

IMO, LG v30 sound good with quad DAC however can use some extra Amp boost

mhvuI using LG V20 now as my daily driver (phone + music player) and can’t wait to pair it with HD6XX. I will share my feedback once I received my HD6XX.

Descay90Same with me, both with the stack and standalone v20. V20 sounds well enough IMO, but the fact that you cannot toggle lo gain and hi gain yourself makes selecting headphones below 50 ohms a daunting task.

mhvuIn the same boat. I know nothing is confirmed but I imagine we'll still see ours arrive earlier than the original estimate - it would make zero sense to shut down production then start it back up again for the second drop. Understandable though why they don't want to make any new commitments while they're still working on fulfilling their promises to the June backers. I've actually told my roommate to tackle me if I try to buy any other headphones while I wait because otherwise I'll spend way too much.

chuckolatteI like LG V20/30 portability... but also love the ritual of plugging in the DAC/AMP to the phone and enjoy the music. I guess it's the process of setting up your gear for music put you in a more enjoyable mood, and you actually gonna LISTENNING to some music instead of mindlessly listen to music.
Also it's a big hint to my wife to leave me alone in my own world when she see me with the DAC/AMP combo, adjusting the volume knob like a little kid.
