Ah, the joys of SmartPost and cost-cutting. And FedEx being the worst of the three major shipping services. I'm supposed to receive my headphones tomorrow which is exciting. I'm not going to complain about NJ to FL taking from Monday to Saturday since its Friday night now, but that is embarrassingly slow service (on the part of FedEx). But currently, tracking just updated to let me know they arrived in Orlando. Sounds like it makes sense, shipping to FL, headphones arriving in Orlando, what could be wrong? Well, the previous update to my tracking from 2 AM this morning is that they left Orlando. Yeah. WTF FedEx?

GaleForceI'm very surprised to see someone thinking that anyone other than USPS is the worst of the three major shipping services lol.

ArcendusFedEx is particularly well known for being shitty. USPS may have its problems (notably on the branches), but it's generally quite reliable. Haven't had a single problem in 7 years, knock on wood. Ymmv

GaleForceHave you got yours yet Gale? Also on FL and my tracking info takes me to a "Not Found". It's been a week since it "shipped" and I just got a non-Massdrop FedEx shipment today (which I also bought) so either FedEx or Massdrop screwed me over.
Edit: after multiple tries, the tracking link worked. It says it's on delivery vehicle... on homestead. I'm nowhere NEAR homestead. I hope it's just a glitch or someone on homestead is gonna be listening to Beyonce on some high end, free pair of headphones.

Mario.PaulYeah, I received mine on Saturday. Very strange experience with SmartPost, however. So it left Orlando and arrived back in Orlando the same day, but I noticed the tracking didn't say "SmartPost" underneath the location when it arrived back the same day. And then on Saturday it was delivered by a regular UPS truck, it wasn't dropped off to USPS like SmartPost normally is. So for whatever reason, that move in Orlando must have been to transfer it to the normal UPS system for delivery on one of their trucks. Hope yours came, though. Best of luck.

GaleForceFinal update, Massdrop did nothing wrong and my apologies for suggesting otherwise. FedEx tracking somehow showed another city as the "out for delivery" status, but the HD 6XXs got home just fine. Enjoy your cans bro

Mario.PaulGlad to hear it, enjoy yours as well. It was funny, I started out plugging them right into the 3.5mm on the computer just because I wanted a comparison using an amp with a good set of headphones. I was impressed, but not that impressed. Then into the O2 amp they went and it was like that classic Maxwell commercial, haha. Anyway, I was thinking with so many people in this drop it's like the ultimate sample size for seeing how Massdrop + SmartPost works. I know the negatives always are louder than the positives, because people with negative experiences will come and complain and those who had an expected experience won't say that they did (usually), but still it feels like there's way too many small mistakes made by SmartPost (FedEx). That being said, in the last 2 weeks I have received two other drops from them that I haven't even been tracking, my Hidden Labs spacebar and keycaps, and those arrived when they were supposed to.
