Thank you for contacting Massdrop Community Support. I'll be happy to answer your question about upgrading shipping.
We recognize that the community would like the option to upgrade shipping, or use a different courier for an additional cost but we are currently unable to offer that service because of our existing courier agreements. Upgraded shipping is a service we would like to offer sometime in the future, and we are actively speaking with couriers to work towards this.

Suckling on the corporate teat of FedEx over offering the community what they want. This needs to change regardless of them taking FedEx money to use them. And since I believe in backing my claims, here is then program FedEx offers retailers to use them over the competition. It's called Tech Awards.

Smart Post has been dropped by most major retailers due to these issues, and Massdrop is happily lapping up these incentives at the cost of our customer experience.

My package has been in North Carolina since Sunday morning, and just says "In Transit". It moved to a town north of charlotte, which is farther away from where I am (Atlanta).
But Smart Post is apparently cheaper, and the savings on these headphones is already pretty incredible. But I still would pay 10-20 bucks more for faster shipping, if thats what it required.
