Hey all, just wanted to share this because it may save someone else a bit of fret. I got my the headphones today (Thursday 11/30), but they were marked delivered "To Agent" on Tuesday 11/ 28. Fedex passed the headphones off to USPS for final delivery, who marked it delivered 2 days before it actually was. Apparently, USPS isn't allowed to deliver past a certain time, but postmen are also not supposed to bring packages out for delivery back at the end of a day. If they have any packages left over at the end of the day, they'll mark it delivered to agent, and then actually deliver it a day or two after that.
After a lot of time on hold with USPS and Fedex, and worrying they showed up. I'm not writing this to complain, on the contrary it's awesome that they showed up way before I originally expected, just wanted to possibly spare someone the hold time and concern.
TLDR: If your package is marked "delivered to agent" and hasn't actually been delivered, give it a day or two before you start freaking out.

cmarsdenUSPS pulls all sorts of tricks when they can't finish delivering packages. I will get the "receptacle blocked" notification most of the time which is total BS. The "delivered" notification which I've received and not getting the package until 2 days later is the worst since you have no idea of the status. Not getting the package is even worse and that's happened to me also.

cmarsden I've had DHL pull these kind of stunt on me when I used express delivery aswell. Tracking said attempted delivery failed due to unable to access property due to gates etc. Checked my security cameras and there was no such delivery made, on top of that the property has no gates or whatever blocking them to attempt a delivery. Free access to the front door. Phoned them up about it and they still won't admit they made up some BS.

TomomoI literally caught a USPS carrier in the act. It was an Amazon package so the notifications get to me immediately. I get the delivery notification and run out and find no package but the truck is sitting right next door to me. So I walk up to the truck and just wait. I eventually see the girl across the street and she had this guilty disgusted look on her face and says she "thinks" she knows what happened. She looks in the back of the truck and my package was sitting amongst 10 or more packages. The next day I ask my normal carrier who was taking a few sick days what happened and he said when there's a part time temp carrier often they do not like to deliver any packages since they have to return to the PO by a certain time and they just want to get the regular mail delivered and go home.Knowing all this is why I like to use Prime shipping since I'm covered if there are any issues. I've had my packages delivered to other people and I've received other people's packages. Many issues are just the result of the BS demands placed on the workers and having worked at FedEx I see that side of it. But a good portion of the issues are just plain laziness and the resulting errors.
