After using these a couple of weeks, I finally decided to write a review. These headphones have changed the way I listen to music, the experience is so pleasant, it's amazing. You're completely immerged in the music, it feels like the artist is right where you're sitting. This is my first pair of 'real' headphones (previously I used a pair of gaming headphones, the Steelseries Siberia 350). Buying an amplifier is something I truly recommend. I thought it wasn't worth it when I got my pair first (I'm a student, haven't got that much extra money), but after some time, and some saving I finally decided to buy a 'cheap' one, the Fiio E10K (almost all amps are quite expensive). And it's worth it. It's completely worth it. It boosts the bass when needed (there's a little switch), and enriches the sound, details are way more clear.
If you've got any questions about the headphones, I'd be honored to answer them. I'm no expert, but I can try :)
Thanks to Sennhheiser and Massdrop for this amazing collab! The only downside (for Europeans at least) is the import cost, which is about 50% here in Belgium, but it was worth it!

HanchipanHey man. I am confused and lost between the 6xx and the 58x. Which ones should I get? I don't have an amp/dac. It's my first audiophile grade headphones

JadMaktabiGet the HD 6XX and later get an amp/dac. It's one of the best buys currently. Also, the reviews on the HD 5XX have been lukewarm... you can tell from the videos that the reviewers think they're OK but not that great (at least not as good as the HD 580).

JadMaktabiDepends on how much you want to spend. If you can go for the 6XX, go for it. It's worth the extra, in my opinion of course. Keep in mind I'm no audiophile either. And a dac/amp is worth it. If you don't want to spend that much, the FiiO E10K is a great option. It's €80 (should be about $80 in US), and it's a dac and amp in one. It's also got a bass switch, which helps out these headphones a lot, since the base isn't the haviest.

HanchipanHey, what was your total price at the end please? With the taxes and all that stuff? Je veux les faire livrer en Belgique mais je ne veux pas payer un prix hors norme...

YeahboyySorry for my late reply, but I think it was about €300 without an amp. Hope this still gets to you.
