Mark_MThey sound great, though they clamp a bit tightly on my head however. You'll love them :)

HaulienThere are two popular ways to stretch out the clamp. You can find them online but basically you extend the headphones all the way out and then one method you flex the metal bands on each side in the other method you flex the top headband. I’d look up the precise technique but I loosened the clamp on my HD650 by flexing the band. Also you can stretch them over a box too.

HaulienI'm having trouble reading the logo on the photo. What cables are those? I really like them!

palusastraCustomCans! Not the cheapest though, especially when compared to the price of the HD6XX. But for what they are, I love em. https://customcans.co.uk/s/s/index.php/hand-made-audio-cables/hd600-balanced-cable.html

HaulienThanks! I appreciate it!
Do you notice any real change in audio quality between these and the stock chord?

HaulienI went with Oidio: https://oidiosound.co.uk/headphone-cables/sennheiser/mongrel-sennheiser-hd6xx.html I like them because they went the extra step and at my request ordered Viablue splitter and termination for my order.

palusastraI don't hear any difference between the two I'm afraid, though I haven't A/B tested it.

GoomsThose are quite nice too! Their braiding between the source and Y-Split is a bit more of a compact braid compared to the CustomCans cable, it's quite nice.

HaulienHow did you get the different color braiding half way down? Doesn't look like there's an option for that on their website.

palusastraThe cable in the above photo consists of: - The headphone cable (turquoise/grey) terminated to balanced female 4-pin mini-XLR (suitable for the RHA Dacamp L1) --- The mini-XLR is a nice small, sturdy locking connector great for adapting. Much less bulky than a full-size XLR connector!
- An adapter cable (purple/black) terminated male 4-pin mini xlr connector one one end and a standard male TRRRS 4.4mm connector suitable for the NW-ZX300
This allows me to switch headphones between various sources without replacing the whole headphone cable.
The below picture shows another headphone cable (green/black) terminated the same way, and other adapters I have (blue = 2.5mm for my Opus#2, red = 6.5mm for my desktop amp, and orange = 3.5mm w/ 6.5mm screw-on adapter for any other single-ended portable devices (eg, my phone, nintendo switch, etc))

HaulienIf you're in the US there is a company that makes them by hand and are reasonably priced too https://periaptcables.com/collections/frontpage/products/professional-pro?variant=31411991506

HaulienBahaha! I built that exact same setup for my 6xx cable. Same connectors and all. Different color scheme though I must admit. Mine's all R,W,B with clear heatshrink over the top... Fun stuff! I like your finish better. I used 24AWG silver coated OCC on mine. Don't tell me that's the same too!
HaulienBig time clamp. I own lots of headphones. These squeeze hard. Way harder than AKG, Bose, Beyer, B&O, etc. But I'm still reaching for them the most. LOL!
