mass1Although, the vast majority of my time will be using the wired connection for the most optimal quality, when I want to listen to music while walking around multitasking etc outside the range of a wire cable connection, what are the best blue tooth adapters for these headphones? Are there any blue tooth adapters that work poorly with these headphones and should be avoided?

mass1Headphones require a power source and ideally have the signal improved by an Amp, passing the audio through Bluetooth will add noise to and reduce the quality of the signal and it will require a significant power source for the speakers to even work. If you must use Bluetooth, just get an adapter from a reliable source using the most current version of Bluetooth and enough power for the cans. Something like a Creative Sound Blaster E3 Portable USB DAC Headphone Amplifier with Bluetooth and NFC on Amazon for around 100USD is your only worthy bet. That's me being biased, but don't spend any less than 40. Even then you're still sacrificing potential and may be better off just buying separate reliable Bluetooth headphones that will be cheaper than the adapter and sound better because they're made for it where these were never designed with Bluetooth in mind. Bluetooth is also notorious for interference. Even bodies of water like humans between the signal and the receiver can cause problems. It's still a developing technology.
If I wanted to use them outside normal range; I would just use a portable audio source, use a different set, or both. My opinion is probably incredibly biased.

EagoadiThe E3 can power the HD6XX. but it will probably only give 2-3 hours of music before its battery dies. Especially if its on bluetooth.

mass1I recommend the Earstudio ES100, it is $100 on Amazon. It both single ended and balanced outputs with both iOS and Android apps available. The app includes a 10-band equalizer. Note that a PC is needed to update firmware. It sounds great on my HD 600. Edit: it is now possible to update the firmware from a Mac as well as with a Windows PC.
