Hi guys I have a question for musicians out there, I am gonna buy a yamaha CP40 stage piano and I need a pair of awesome sounding headphones to really accentuate the magnificent sound of the CP40 are the 6xx's a good choice? and can the cp40 even drive the 6xx properly? I hope someone could be of assistance.

Rajivi would guess that the piano itself isn't going to drive the headphones properly .

jATdGM32It's a pretty expensive Piano though, I'll look up what kind of Impedance it can handle. well it doesn't show if it has a AMP/DAC I assume it has seeing how expensive it is and i tried it in store with a pair of headphones i can't remember which one they were tho. might have been some Roland headphones or something.

JBal4I e-mailed Yamaha and they said their Piano's can drive 32 to 300 Ohm and seeing how the HD650 have an impedance of 300 Ohm I would see a problem. Please correct me if I am wrong.
