For everyone out there complaining about the "problems" with ordering from this morning... have you ever shopped on any other sites where there was wild demand for a product and there were problems with the checkout / purchase process?  Why would you think the situation here is any different?
Mass demand + repeated hammering of a web server to complete orders = problems sometimes.  It's technology people, it's not perfect and things like this happen.  Go shop on any other site during a big sale like Black Friday and try to buy an item for which there's massive demand and tell me you don't experience a single problem.
As for the others who missed out on the deal and say "well I didn't want these crappy knock offs anyway"... stop being sore losers and spreading misinformation.  It's been laid out, very clearly, that these are AUTHENTIC headphones, made by Sennheiser using all of the original internals of the HD 650, complete with support and warranty from Sennheiser themselves.  The suggestion that these are somehow inferior knock offs is simply just wrong.

XandrosYou're right, this happens even with Amazon. I ordered a subwoofer from them from the warehouse for a ridiculously low price. Immediate confirmation, but It never shipped and after two phone calls asking for status, they cancelled my order, saying it was out of stock.

XandrosThank you! At least someone gets it. I understand people's frustration, but all these annoying comments about being loyal to the site for years and being upset ("I'm never coming back again") at this one drop's outcome are very irrational, in my opinion.
If you've been ordering from this site for years with no issues then you're bound to come across something irritating at some point. Nothing's perfect.

XandrosDoesn't happen on Amazon's site, and shrugging your shoulders saying "eh, that's technology for you" is not an excuse. MassDrop could've handled this sale a dozen different ways to make sure people who got up at six in the friggin morning were able to get a pair.
This huge thing was a total cluster and we all know it. Massdrop needs to do better because this customer experience has SUCKED.

MrWheelNDealYes, we understand, it sucks.  But to suggest that there was any way to prevent this from happening with 100% certainty just isn't possible.  I've experienced this very same situation with a lot of items in the past - whether retail merchandise, event tickets etc., for things where there is extreme demand, sometimes the system just gets overwhelmed and can't handle all the activity.  Just because you've never experienced it before, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

XandrosYou can prevent it, lots of companies do. Ticket Master does it every day. So does Amazon. So does PAX. If Massdrop is going to hype a sale with limited quantity which is obviously extremely popular, they must do better, and we have a right to demand that. They wasted thousands of people's time today.
