Having just upgraded from a 35" VA panel from AOC, I'm worried that this drop will suffer from motion blur. It was the primary reason for my upgrade to an LG 34UC79G.
Granted, that panel was 1080p and 144hz, so some improvements might have been made along the way.
Now, if this monitor had motion blur reduction (backlight strobing) it would be a home run. There are currently no other ultrawide, 1440p monitors with motion blur reduction outside of GSYNC/ULMB priced monitors.

tangmanWhat did you upgrade into? At 144Hz, why would there be motion blur?

dattanchuI upgraded to a LG 34UC79G. It is the only ultrawide with motion-blur reduction that's not GSync priced. It's not perfect, there are so issues with something called "strobe crosstalk", but it's really nice overall.
In VA and IPS monitors, the pixels take longer to change color. That's that "5ms G2G response time" on the monitor spec. Now with very fast refresh rates, the pixels themselves can't keep up fast enough. The Acer Z35 reportedly had problems with this, but that one has GSync so users could turn on ULMB.

dattanchuMotion blur, specifically black fall times, are the main problem with performance VA panels. It is getting better but the last reviews I have seen show that it's not fixed yet.
This is an AU Optronics panel and probably has an equivalent Acer monitor with g-sync. Look up the reviews on TFTCentral of the panel to get an understanding of how this panel performs.
P.S. if I get time I will link a review for reference...
