Received my monitor yesterday. Got it mounted and set up almost immediately, Nvidia control panel recognized the resolution and 100hz refresh, and it looks beautiful. I loaded up some test images and did not see any dead pixels or QC problems with the panel. Very satisfied, especially with the value this drop has presented.
My only quibble was that the enclosed manual did not have instructions for removing the stand arm. Granted, it's not super complicated or hard to figure out (you remove the 4 pre-installed screws that hold the stand arm to the VESA mounting holes, and then both the arm and entire rear plastic housing comes off). It was just a little surprising, you know, the plastic housing flexing and popping off! One sentence or image in the documentation would have gone a long way for me.
I haven't watched reviews of the monitor recently, but I remember people complaining about the control and configuration options. Whatever interface the prototype had, this was a breeze to use and I can't really imagine anyone having a problem with setting brightness/contrast/color temp settings. It was easier to configure than most mainstream DELL monitors.

frestThe problem the review units had was that the control stick's directions were all jumbled (I.E. Press right on stick = scroll down in the menu). Thankfully, they fixed that issue with the production units.

frest what kind of card are you using with it? I have a laptop with a 1070 that Im running it off of now and it still looks really good. I am just about to get a 1080 ti or a 1080 at the least in my new desktop rig. Any tips, recommendations, or praise for certain presets on the monitor itself and parts to get?

The_Man_HimselfUsing a 1080 with mine. Works great with the Vast. I tried using the color settings recommended in the Tom's Hardware review of the Massdrop Vast and found that doing so significantly improved the color quality.
