Just got mine today (late Christmas present :D ) and it is great! No dead pixels, it sits level just fine, no apparent physical damage.
I had some flickering with the first display port cable I tried, but the one that came with it seems to be just fine (although a little short). Back light bleed isn't bad, there's 4 ish splotches (maybe like 3"x4") but only 1 smaller spot that I think could really be better; I can't notice any of the spots unless I display a full screen dark solid color. The only real image quality concern I have is the bottom 1/4" edge of the screen seems to noticably dim towards the edge, but it doesn't look "bad" and I don't think it would be worth returning. As others have mentioned the bottom bezel does seem to get pretty warm during operation, but it doesn't seem like it would damage anything (I hope). The colors were a bit blue out of the box, but following the tom's hardware suggestions seems to have helped (although I think their settings ended up a bit warm), I'd keep the brightness under 75 for color and contrast accuracy.
I've played Fortnight and BF1 (gtx 1070) and they look absolutely great! Fortnight is fine at all epic settings (although I dropped the AA) and BF1 is smooth at high settings (also lowest setting of AA). This is a HUGE step up from my 1080p 60hz for gaming. I also programmed some with it and I'm loving the extra width. This ended up being a fantastic deal! I'm sorry for all of those who had issues with theirs :(.

HiddenMarkovI've noticed the dimness towards the bottom as well, but I just measured it and it extends almost 3/4 inch into the screen from the bottom, not 1/2 like I'd just commented on earlier. It's really bugging me since right now I'm using it at work and it's causing my taskbar to fade out. It also causes colors to be less vivid in this dimmed area.
