Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

Pros: The sound stage/imaging is prety good on these, way better than anything (similarly priced) closed back.
They are prety comftorable. They are very light weight and the strap distributes what little weight they have very well on your head.
For $50 the sound is really clear and crisp with prety good seperation. They have a flat sounding frequency response. They are definitely studio monitors.
Cons: I feel its almost ridiculous to make a cons list for something with such a great value but here it is any way.
The pads are a little too hard for my taste and they can get a little warm sometimes. I'm prety sensitive to heat on headphones though so take this with a grain of salt. Also since they have a lose clamp they can move around.
They are somewhat lacking when it comes to sub bass but that doesn't really bother me. The bass is clear its just not intense.
The sound isn't as clear compared to much more expensive cans (is this really a con).
Side note: The wire is very long. You decide if this is a pro or a con for you.
Are these headphones worth it? For 50 bucks? Yeah! I'd even pay 100 for these.
