Is this Amp worth $355 Canadian? What would I use as a DAC? I have the 6XX being powered by my Micca Origen+ DAC/Amp.

Mark_MI am interested in the same concern. Anyway, do you have experience in pay tax when we order something from let's say US? How much tax did you pay for your 6XX? Thanks in advance.

Mark_MI have the same question. I missed the Topping D50 drop because I forgot to go back and join in time. Currently, I'm using either my Audioquest Dragonfly Black, or Zorloo ZuperDac. I'll definitely pick one up in the next drop but I am also looking at the SMSL Sanscrit 6th. I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on my current setup or my aspired setup. Thanks. BTW, been lightly using the MCTH since Friday. It sounds good out of the box. I think I've noticed some changes in sound already with everything starting to sound more detailed through my HD6xx's and HE4xx's.

sucram65The only downside of using the micca origin as a DAC with Windows 7 it can't access DSD files but it will with Windows 10. it works fine I've heard as long as you've installed the drivers right into Fubar 2000.BTW I'm using the first gen unit. I heard they fixed the windows driver problem with the newest unit. Check out z review of it on YouTube.

sucram65I think I'm going to wait for the MD Liquid Carbon to come back for sale. I've heard good things with that one plus it will prevent me from getting into tubes which I hear can get expensive.

Mark_MToo late for me. I got in on the drop for the Little Dot MK II. Fortunately, there are a few tube combinations that I’ve seen that seem to be widely agreed upon to be amazing sounding. I’ll limit myself to 2 or 3 of those to start/maybe stop at.

sphungThanks for your information. I live in ON. Anyway, for 6xx, I guess C$260 for headphones, C$20 for shipping, then C$150 for taxing? Then it almost equals to HD600/650 on sale at Amazon.
